I agree with Joan. How has our definition of what a STAR is has changed. What did Bristol Palin ever do that makes her a STAR??? So she is the daughter of a former Governor and former VP running mate, but Bristol has done nothing to make her a STAR.
Bristol is not the star — her mother is and since her mother is such a figure they had to get someone — so they chose her daughter …lol

Who on here is rooting for Jennifer Gray I AM. it is SOOOOO hard to vote though you’ll see one good dancer then there will be another good dancer come along after then they got some of the worlds best dancer’s performing on that floor now how do they expect us to only choose ONE of them

Last season we thought she’d learn to cover those “bought” items… she doesn’t get it !!! …and we’re not buying it… & we’re the audience ! … if she can’t figure it out on her own…please SPEAK FOR US when it comes to her wardrobe!!! It’s obnoxious.
If Sarah Palin is on the show, it’s the last time I watch it. Bristol can dance if she wants to, but please leave your loser mother at home.

What is pathetic about the show is the co-hostess Brook. She is about as cheesy, and unprofessional as they come. NO personality, and so crude. Wow, did ABC lose a good one when the lost Samantha! She was class all the way!
Overall a good show last night, but two things that need to be said. I thought this was DWT “Stars”, not receptionists who are related to Palin or mouthy reality t.v. people with no class.
Also, it was shameful for producers to use the song from Dirty Dancing. It was completely inappropriate and was an insult to the memory of Patrick Swayze. Also, Jennifer Grey played her best role when “breaking down” during practiace. You do know that they did NOT get along on the set of that movie and never kept in touch over all those years. It was a disgusting display overall.
All the issues regarding Bristol Palin are bonafide. She isn’t a STAR therefore should not be on TV, she needs to be home taking care of her responsibility just like Kate Gosselin should have been doing. But now that she’s there,we see that she’s substituting for Kate Gosselin. Kate had no coordination/rhythm and nor does Bristol yet the judges are giving her the “kid glove” treatment. Bristol Palin should not be rewarded for being a TEEN MOTHER. She’s not a role model. $50,000 per lecture and now Dancing with the Stars – give me a break! If society’s treatment of Bristol Palin results in these kinds of rewards then extend it to ALL THE OTHER TEEN MOTHERS out there. If anything, Bristol Palin is encouraging teen girls to do what or try to do what she’s doing. There is one thing I can say positive about Bristol Palin, she seems to be a tad bit smarter, verbally, than the person that birthed her. ABC I think the public would have watched DWS without Bristol Palin – so you would have had your ratings regardless!

I am beginning to get vwery disappointed in this program and it has been my favorite. Bruno advertising was disgusting. The others were stupid. I watch to see dancing. The judges are playing to the audience more than being accurate.

I am very dispointed with dancing with trhe stars .the show is dancing with the stars Crystal Palin is niether one of those.she is never been a star and sure no dancer.so how did she get on the show,maybe by someones influnce?.i have always watched the show everytime if came on but not going to watch it anymore for these reason as i have said before
I agree with you, why is Bristol Palin still dancing? I do not understand how Rick Fox, Florence Henderson and the other young lady was voted off and Bristol Palin is still there. I love Dancing with the stars, but now I feel like Lynn this is an in justice. If she is not voted off the next time I will stop looking. When I was trying to vote for Rick Fox and the other I could not ge through. It’s like someone is tying up the lines. The phones number is always busy. I don’t understand.

Why is Bristol Palin still on the show? And ABC really needs to talk to these judges they are very rude and disrespectfull. It’s sad to see and hear week after week Jennifer Gray complain about this injury and that injury and then come out and do splits……. she wants pity. Then Bristol, the only reason the judges are allowing her to stay on is because of her mother!!! She’s stiff as a board and have no rhythm. Kurt has done better than Bristol hands down and they only gives him eights. Rick Fox did a heck of a lot better than Bristol and they got rid of him.It’sjust like the season with Donny osmond it’s who you are and how much butt you kiss!!!!
I cant believe once again that Bristol is still in!!!!! This is just crazy, week after week they send home someone who should be there! Its obvious that Republicans are voting her to stay! Re: Bristol Palin I sure would’nt want my daughter to have her as a role model.(An advocate???) It’s like… “look, I’m a star and I never even finished high school, pregnant and yes you too can be a star” It’s all pathetic and ABC will do anything for ratings. I no longer let my teen daughter watch week after week and hear them say “and teen advocate, Bristol Palin”.
DWTS shouldnt have anyone with the type of dancing experiance as Brandy and Jennifer have! Its not fair that Brandy and Jennifer are on the show, ones and singer dancer the other is a actor and dancer ( Dirty Dancing)and the her father is an entertainer (dancer) as well, its in the blood. yes I know, they have been working JUST as hard as the other “Stars” but its not right to have them on the show! I would of like to see Florance, Cho at this level now, they were doing very well and would of been more equal with their dancing abilities, but thats not the case. I think thats why the viewers are voting the way they are because they are trying to make a point that its not fair to have more advance dancer on DWTS. WOW! Look at all of us making all our comments, but the funny thing is those that are gone and those that are still there are because of us. We are the ones voting it doesn’t matter how good or bad you are it is the public opinion that votes. So we are all to blame, if we want it to go our way then we need to make it happen. This shouldn’t be about who they are but do they really have the talent, no matter if they have experience or not. So if we don’t like the way it is turning out then we need to vote!!!!!!!! Politics have no business being used to judge who should stay and who should go. So lets get off our butts and vote and tell them who we think should stay and who should go!!

Bristol Palin is a joke. It is hard to watch all 3 Judges compliment her and critize Jennifer, Brandy and other dancers from time to time. If Bristol Palin wins or even makes it through one more night, I am done with this show.
What is this – Sarah Palin has no business even speaking during the show. There are other famous celebrities visiting the audience every night and they are not given a chance to talk. I am so sick how Politics is interjected into everything. I think DWTS is scard of Sarah the Baracuda. If anybody says to does anything Sarah or Todd don’t like, they retaliate. I’m never watching the show again, it’s fake! How the hell can that silly girl beat out those beautiful dancers? She’s clumsy and awkward has no grace or flow. You lost a viewer, oh i’m sure you lost a few of them tonight. She beat out Brandy? NO way unless her mommy had the tea party vote and how sad is that? She wouldn’t have made it on her own. And how sad is it that the tea party group had nothing better to do but give themselves raises and vote for this pathetic kid?
I am very disappointed in this show, I will not watch this show again, and I will let my friends know. rating and Bristol, this was a rating move and a poltical move for the the patlin clan. This evening’s results were ludicrous! Week after week the viewers’ political) voters keep a a ‘last place’dancer on the show at the expense of far more talented ‘stars’. I feel miserable right now, knowing that this happened again with the elimination of one of the best (if not, the best) dancers of the cast. Brandy was robbed! This is a shame, in a big, big way. It is WRONG! I do believe the scores by the judges need to be given more weight in the overall results. After all, this is supposed to be a talent show – not a popularity contest. Pleast do better another year!

Bristol Pallin is just a kid, and has done really well throughout this whole season. Good enough to be in the finals, in my opinion, no. But better than your post, yes!!!
I thought that Brandy should have been in the finals. I thought that it would be between her and Jennifer. When they start letting the public vote on ‘popularity’ talent goes out the window. I learned that with ‘America’s Got Talent’.
Just my opinion on the results. My bet is now on Jennifer Grey, she is the best one now.

I am so upset with the American people for not voting on how good a person danced vs.the reputation of a political influence(Sarah Palin)daughter. Bristol should have been gone after week 2, the girl is stiff,no emotion, and no rhythm. It is a shame that the world is still so prejudice, the whole state of Alaska had to have voted for her and another thing I called to vote last night and I could not get through after 22 tries, I think the calls are rigged and DWTS chose the dancer they want to win. They took Brandy out of the competition so Jennifer could win, and we all know she’s going to win.
Jennifer Gray is using great strategy of making everyone feel her pain. Even bought the doctor on tv to explain her pain and sugges that she should not continue but after each dance she shows no emotion of pain.

Certainly not qualified to stay on the show so long and then you send home better dancers. The Judges are playing up to her and her mother. Makes you think it is about politics and not dancing. I have been watching DWTS every season and this 11th season after the eliminations have been upset. How could the voters call in and think Bristol was better than Florence Henderson, the football & basketball players and now Brandi with a perfect score of 30 (total 57). This show is all politics and I text & phone my votes in for Jennifer, Kyle and my votes went in for them but when it came for Brandi I receeved a message that I was out of the time zone WHAT DOES THAT MEAN AND IT WAS THE SAME TIME I VOTED FOR JENNIFER & KYLE I HAD VOTES LEFT TEXT & PHONE. THIS WAS FIX TO VOTE FOR BRISTOL INSTEAD OF BRANDI, BUT I DIDN’T VOTE FOR BRISTOL I HAVE GOOD TASTE AND KNOW WHEN I SEE EXCELLENT DANCING AND BRISTOL YOU DON’T HAVE THE DANCING TALENT. THIS IS UNBEIVABLE AND SO POLITICS.
I thought the name of the Show was dancing with the Stars, well then Bristol Palin should be disqualified! Star, come on, that girl isn’t pretty, she has not talent, what star??? There has to be something wrong here. I cannot fathom that Brandy was eliminated and the fat slob of a dancer(not) Bristol is still there. The Situation was eliminated and he was a better dancer than this fat gross pig. In fact, all those eliminated are better dancers than this poor excuse. Margaret Cho was bad, bad, bad, and even at her worse, she is better than this miserable excuse. She knows she is out of her league, and the look on her face when she heard she wasn’t eliminated confirms this. Just goes to show that talent counts for nothing, and a name will get you further than you should go. This is just so disappointing that it is discusting.

This is truly a sham. I agree the Palin girl is only on DWTS because of improper use of voting. This is truly sickning and exposure of the fraudulant voting going on needs to be exposed for the sake of the show. If she actually wins the competition, it will be the end of a good show. It has tainted this competition and has unfairly hurt worthy dancers, such a Brandy. If she wins, say goodbye to DWTS. In the spirit of fairness, I no longer will watch this show.
I am shocked at the outcome of the final voting by the public. There is no way that Bristol Palin is a better dancer than Brandy. Sara must have all of Alaska voting for her daughter. The day of fairness and ability has completely disappeared from DWTS. I have faithfully watched the show since it began – and enjoyed it. However, it now has hit an all-time low on my rating scale. If the policy of voting doesn’t change, DWTS is off my radar. Too bad. The producers had better take notice “the dew is off the rose.”
This is a BIG mistake! I can not stand Bristol and her stupid dancing and her stupid mother with all her soccer mom and grizzle crap. What is wrong with all of you! This was a competition of who was the best dancer. And Bristol is not it. This makes me sick! Brandy was one of the best dancers and yet she is voted off by Bristol’s mother’s follower’s. The show should be postponed until all the email votes are authenticated. Some people have several email addresses (if they voted 5 times using each separate address that would make 25 votes!) Only telephone votes should be allowed. Bristol should show good sense and graciously step down to save her reputation. She knows she didn’t dance as well as the others.The producers of DWTS should have known something was wrong when better dancers were voted off. It really is a shame that such a good clean fun show would get such a dirty mark. I enjoyed for many seasons , Sponsors should insist on validation, or withdraw their ads.
Last nights show was an insult to all the GREAT dancers who were voted off. Bristal Palin being there is a product of her Mother getting her votes. I will not be watching Dancing With The Stars again. The show needs to make changes in its voting system or it will not be around much longer.
I am really sorry that DWTS has sunk to such a level of politics. Ms. Palin, touted as a teen advocate, is not a star, celebrity or anything close to one. She is not a role model for my children or grandchildren. Flouting her lack of education, being an unwed mother, and having no dancing ability shows the level to which this show has sunk. I have watched this show since the first season and enjoyed it, but agree that the voting system needs to be changed. After last night, it has lost credibility with me and I will no longer be watching it.
